I live in Mississippi, but my father is from Maine. My surname is blanchard, but i have some evidence that it might have been changed from blanchett. My ggrandfather, was edward blanchard, who came from canada in 1869. Some of his documents say he came from the area of quebec; but my aunt says that he used to speak a lot about PEI. on one document, it said he was born in new brunsvick..
