I live in Mississippi, but my father is from Maine. My surname is blanchard, but i have some evidence that it might have been changed from blanchett. My ggrandfather, was edward blanchard, who came from canada in 1869. Some of his documents say he came from the area of quebec; but my aunt says that he used to speak a lot about PEI. on one document, it said he was born in new brunsvick..

There should be a place to post obituaries and other related data.

Lorraine Rice was killed instantly in a two car crash on Rt. 9 Jan 29. She was the daughter of Sadie (Lewis) Andrews, whose photos appear among the many here, and her husband Frank. Lorraine's husband Wayne is in EMMC as are the persons in the other vehicle.
