William Johnson, father of Oscar Johnson

I would like ANY information that can be found surrounding the birth of Oscar Hugh Johnson, son of William Johnson and Catherine McCready. He was supposedly born in Calais on March 16, 1892. He and William then disappear until Oscar shows up again in a WWI draft registration in 1917. Not sure if Catherine and William were even married. We can find no records pertaining to this threesome.
