"There is also a book: Vital Records from the Eastport Sentinel 1818-1900 Nothing there to help me but the CD might be different. Also checked with the Eastport Clerk- she was very nice but didn't find anything.. Appreciate your other thoughts."

Although they don't have as much eastern Washington County and Charlotte County posters, they have an active group of researchers from western Washington County, and I've heard of the Hanscom name in their neck of the woods.

Welcome, Gale!  Use the searchbox at upper right to check for names and locales.  Your surname reminded me that I had a photo of Muriel Spates in my collection that I hadn't uploaded yet.  She's shown with her mother and her then boyfriend Lester Darius Turner, who did not end up marrying Muriel, but married Laura J. McLean, who just died at age 103.
