They had 7 children with them. They sailed into Partridge Island just off St. John, New Brunswick. They eventually settled in Carlton County. Her parents, George and Elizabeth Reid were already there since about 1843, maybe earlier. I know that there are variations of the spelling..

Perhaps we are looking for the same families.
