From online research, hopefully correct:
Michael Alexander Brogan was born 25 January 1877 in New Brunswick, Canada, the son of Daniel and Catherine (Finnigan) Brogan. I believe his paternal grandparents were Alexander and Ann Agnes (Dolan) Brogan. His maternal grandparents were Michael and Mary (Gillan) Finnigan.
Michael came to live in the US about 1895. In 1912, he married Elizabeth Theresa Conboy , who was born about 1882 in Maine, the daughter of John and Mary (possibly Craugh). The couple resided in Calais, Maine. In the 1930 Census, Michael gave his occupation as restaurant proprietor.
