Charles O. Brown, born about 1869, Wilton, Maine; m. Ida M. Smith

Found in an autograph book signed by people from the Wilton, Maine area.  Calling card with the name of Charlie O. Brown.


From online research, hopefully correct, and hopefully for the correct Charlie O. Brown:


Charles O. Brown was born about 1869 at Wilton, Maine, the son of David and Hannah (Newell) Brown.  His paternal grandparents were, I think, Isaac and Ruth (Mosier) Brown.  His maternal grandparents were Franklin and Elizabeth "Betsey" (Clayton) Newell.


On 17 October 1897 at Farmington, Maine, Charles O. Brown married Ida M. Smith.  She was born about 1870, the daughter of Dennis H. and Mary A. (Stetson) Smith.  Her paternal grandparents were, I think, George and Sarah Smith.  Her maternal grandparents were Nathaniel and Matilda Stetson.


So far I haven't found Charles and Ida after the 1900 Census of Wilton, Maine, where the couple was living with their 2 year old daughter and Charles' father David.
