Carrol Francis Bailey was born 14 March 1883 at Cambridge, Maine, the son of Charles O. and Ada Ann (Whitney) Bailey. In 1915/1916 he was a School Director of the Flat School at Cambridge, as shown on the card below.
Carrol Francis Bailey's paternal grandparents were Ephraim P. and Anna F. (Morrill) Bailey. His maternal grandparents were Thomas and Adeline (Wright) Whitney.
On 21 September 1899 at Deer Isle, Carrol married Etta Frances Ball, who was born in June of 1883 at Deer Isle, the daughter of Isaac and Mercy Susan (Weed) Ball. Her paternal grandparents were Chester and Nancy (Hutchinson) Ball. Her maternal grandparents were David Daniel Weed and wife Pamelia C. (Bray) Weed.
Carrol Francis Bailey and Etta Francis (Ball) Bailey had a son Charles Carrol Bailey, before apparently divorcing. Charles Carrol Bailey is also mentioned on the card above, as a student.
On 8 November 1905 at Cambridge, Maine, Carrol Francis Bailey married Edna May Lowell, who was born 9 December 1881 at Cambridge, Maine, the daughter of John A. and Flora J. (Wilder) Lowell. Her paternal grandparents were John and Melvina/Malvira (Colson) Lowell. Her maternal grandparents were Gerrrish Lowell Wilder and wife Lydia Ann (Randall) Wilder.
Carrol farmed at Cambridge.
