Bertha W. Baston was born 4 December 1878 in North Yarmouth Maine, the daughter of Sewall Baston and his wife Laura F. (Swett or Sweat) Baston.
Bertha had two sisters: Marcia E. Baston, born in 16 November 1875, and Helen F. Baston, born 24 February 1881.
Bertha married Orrin Hawkes, whose family tree is included.
