Maine & Maritime Canada Genealogy

Researching Downeast Maine and Maritime Canada Families Together

In the 1870 Census (I think) my GGGParents, Ebenezer Swan, jr and wife, Martha Ann (Lee) Swan had a 5 year old boy named PERLY SMITH living with them.  Hoping that Perley's identity might lead me to find a breakthrough into Eben'r Swan, Sr's parents, I followed Perley's line up several generations.  This line is shown on Ancestry.com if anyone cares to see Smith relatives in the Charlotte and surrounding areas.  Sadly, I found no tie in to my Swan family even though one of Eben jr's brothers was named Smith Elijah!

Good luck hunting! Hope this helps someone!
